POSK announcement:

Dear Friends,

Following the government's advice, we have decided to temporarily close POSK to the public, effective from Monday. All events scheduled to take place between now and the end of April have been postponed.

The safety and wellbeing of our community, staff, and visitors is our key priority. We urge everyone, including all members of the Polish community, to strictly follow the government's advice on social distancing, and hygiene rules.

POSK is a charity organisation and we rely heavily on revenues from office & venue hire, ticket sales, as well as donations for funding our work.

This decision to close our Centre to the public has been extremely difficult to make and will cause serious financial difficulties in the coming months. If you would like to donate to POSK to help us in this unprecedented situation, you can do so via our CharityCheckout account. - https://posk.charitycheckout.co.uk/donate#!/

We hope that once this crisis is over, you will continue supporting our mission to proudly serve the Polish community in Britain and show the best of Polish culture to all audiences.

We will keep today's decision under constant review in line with the latest guidance from the government.

In the meantime, we are looking into other ways of helping our community in this difficult time, including online.

Thank you for your understanding and continous support.

We look forward to welcoming you to POSK again soon.

Joanna Młudzinska
Chair, POSK
