SUMMARY:24.10| Musical performance\, ‘Dziady\, Part II’\, inspired by Adam Mickiewicz’s drama.
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an extraordinary musical performance\, ‘Dziady\, Part II’\, inspired by Adam Mickiewicz’s drama. A mysterious atmosphere\, music\, a world of spirits\, and tales of guilt\, punishment and love will transport us to the extraordinary world of ancient rituals. \nOn stage\, we’ll see\, amongst others\, the well-known Marcin Gęsla and Milena Dobrzycka\, whom we recently had the pleasure of applauding in the production “Krakowiacy i Górale”. The music for the show was composed by Sebastian Krajewski. \nThis will be a theatrical experience quite unlike most performances\, brimming with music\, emotion\, mystery and a unique atmosphere. It’s well worth sharing these special moments with us and allowing the world of ‘Dziady’ to become our world\, if only for a moment. \nSchool tickets: culture@posk.org \nTickets are available on Eventbrite and at the POSK reception. \nWe warmly invite you to join us!

SUMMARY:27.10| Face to face. Intergenerational meet-ups at POSK.
DESCRIPTION:Face to face. Intergenerational meet-ups at POSK.\nIn a world of screens and notifications\, we’re meeting in person less and less often: sitting round a table\, over a cup of tea\, looking each other in the eye. That’s why we’re inviting you to a series of meet-ups as part of the ‘Together in the UK’ programme\, which brings together generations\, healthy habits and good fun. \nPeople are what matter most here. It’s an opportunity to meet new people\, share experiences and simply have a chat\, regardless of age. \nThe programme also includes facial yoga with the amazing Ewa Aleksandra Żak. This is an increasingly popular trend\, and regular facial exercises and massage\, just like other healthy habits\, can be the key to looking and feeling better. We promise there’ll be plenty of laughter too\, because making funny faces together is the best way to break the ice. \nAfter the exercises\, we invite you to join us for coffee and tea. There’ll be time for conversation\, networking and a bit of brainstorming: how to develop our meetings so that they’re a source of knowledge and inspiration\, whilst also providing a healthy dose of joy. Face to Face. Intergenerational meetings at POSK. \nTuesdays: 27 October\, 3 November and 10 November\n6.30 pm–8.00 pm\nSala Orłów\nAdmission is free\, but places are limited\, so registration is required: https://shorturl.at/9cOXQ \nCome on your own\, with your mum\, your granny\, your grandchild or a friend. See you there in person! \n
