DESCRIPTION:The Imperial College Big Band takes to the Jazz Cafe POSK stage once again for another evening of big band classics\, fusion hits\, and swing sensations!\nWith Chris Dean (Syd Lawrence Orchestra) at the helm\, the group of scientists\, engineers and medics that make up the IC Big Band have been hard at work shaping the band into the best of the College’s jazz scene. In the past few years\, the band has enjoyed performing at a range of the highest-profile jazz venues in the country\, with sold-out shows in the Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho)\, gigs at the Bull’s Head (Barnes) and many other appearances outside of the capital city.\nIn recent years\, the band’s popularity has even begun to grow outside of the UK\, with invitations from the Montreux International Jazz Festival\, the North Sea Jazz Festival and even a hit gigs at the Kunstfabrik Schlot jazz club (Berlin) and the MOE club (Madrid).\nPrepare for an evening of fresh and exciting new tunes as the IC Big Band reminds you of what you’ve been missing since the last time they appeared at Jazz Cafe POSK!
