SUMMARY:20.09| ARNA. Musical
DESCRIPTION:An event as part of the 1st Festival of Polish Culture in the British Isles. \nARNA\, musical. \nArna’ is an original chamber musical exploring the phenomenon of emigration. The production is based on texts by Joanna Stanecka and deals not only with the theme of exile or wandering in a geographical sense. The story of Arna is also a reflection on mental\, spiritual and … reincarnational emigration. It is a ‘song’ about humanity\, its atavistic desire for freedom\, dignity and respect. However\, the spotlight falls on a woman\, Arna\, who\, as a representative of the fairer and weaker sex\, shows us her journey through a difficult life\, bearing on her shoulders an unnecessary sensitivity and a broken heart. The production is bursting with music composed by Zbigniew Krebs\, which\, with its fervour and wildness\, illustrates the emotional duality of every emigration. The style of the music? 1930s Harlem. \nDate: 20 September\, 2 pm\, Studio POSK \nTickets
