SUMMARY:03.11| Screening of the film "HOME"
DESCRIPTION:The film in both Polish and English has Polish subtitles in places where English dialogue takes place\, and English subtitles when it falls in Polish. \nMeli Hilleard film\nEven on the ruins a new home can be built. Documentary\, Independent Cinema\, Experimental\, Artistic\, Author\, “Found Footage” ‘HOME’ subverts the rules about how we assumed a film should look. This 95-minute documentary was created from “found footage”; shot over many years with a “belly-up” camera\, capturing events completely improvised\, and the script was written last\, in a process almost reversed. The film focuses on family\, identity\, emigration\, and the circle of life\, death and rebirth. It was inspired by seven years of film and photographic footage\, showing the lives of a handful of people thrown out of their cultures and homes\, who make a home and find love in the home of a 90-year-old\, bedridden writer\, in a London suburb. “HOME” film website & trailer https://melahilleard.com/?page_id=192 \nTICKETS – click here \n03.11.2024\, 3 – 4:35 pm\nSala Orłów\, POSK
