An Explorationof Art and Identity with Contemporary Anglo-Polish Artist Ania Ruszkowski<\/h4>\n

Practical Art Workshop: An Exploration of Art and Identity led by Artist Ania Ruszkowski<\/strong> This event will be run twice during the day.
\nChoose the time slot that suits you. Register here!<\/strong><\/a>Morning slot 11:00am – 2:30pmAfternoon<\/em>slot 2:30pm – 5:30pm<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
Release your creativity, and create a work of art that captures your unique identity.This interactive workshop is designed for adults and teenagers, with no expectation or need to know how to draw.
\nComplete novices and budding artists are equally welcome.
\nParticipants will explore what forms individual and group identity.
\nVisual examples will be shared to demonstrate how art has reflected identity historically and the different approaches used; and to consider how present global migration means we are no longer defined by a single culture or nationality.
\nParticipants will then create images to reflect their local and global migrant influences.
\nThe workshop is led by Ania Ruszkowski – a qualified Learning Specialist and practicing artist whose work explores her own migrant history and Anglo-Polish identity.
\nTechniques to choose from will include drawing and\/or collage.
