April 21st At 2 p.m. Please join us for the final of the Polish Educational Society in the UK competition.

The final will consist of 4 rounds, each with 10 questions. Rounds I and II will focus on the Battle of Monte Cassino, and Rounds III and IV on the Warsaw Uprising. The competition is planned as a quiz, each team will get a worksheet to mark the answers in writing. We are counting on our young people to present a fantastic knowledge of these two battles, as our goal is to promote historical knowledge. We also want to honor the Polish heroes of Monte Cassino and the Warsaw Uprising, remind the younger generation of the sacrifice and courage of their ancestors who fought to defend the highest values understanding the importance of shaping civic attitudes among our students. The competition also aims to integrate the educational community in the UK, students from different schools will have the opportunity to have direct contact, make new friends, and teachers will have the opportunity to cooperate or exchange experiences.
Of course, the prizes are also not insignificant. Talks with guests from the Honorary Committee, interesting book prizes, diplomas – this will certainly be a great pleasure for all participants. We also have a special grand prize: the winning team will receive a voucher for a weekend trip to Warsaw.
