“Szalony, Zielony Bez” / “Green Wild Elderflower” – A Musical Journey Through the World of Agnieszka Osiecka

Other Space Productions invites you to the premiere of the musical “Szalony, Zielony Bez,” inspired by Agnieszka Osiecka – an icon of Polish culture whose poetry and humor continue to inspire generations. The performance will take place at the POSK Theatre in London on Saturday, April 12 (11:30 AM and 7:00 PM) and Sunday, April 13 (5:00 PM).

A Story of Dreams and Freedom
Leaving conventions behind, a young girl from Warsaw embarks on an exhilarating journey where love, never-ending fun and unforgettable relationships await at every turn. Her colourful story unfolds between the realities of the capitalist West and the grey, yet humorous, communist Poland. The performance combines beloved songs written by Agnieszka Osiecka with excerpts from her diaries, interviews and anecdotes from the book “Szpetni Czterdziestoletni.”

A Musical Feast
Audiences will hear new interpretations of well-known hits, including:

• “Damą być”
• “Nie ma jak pompa”
• “Na zakręcie”
• …and many more!

After the performance, there will be a 30-minute workshop where the audience can share their favorite poems by Agnieszka Osiecka.
