The classes will be led by Joanna Zwierzynska, a finalist of the well-known dance program You Can Dance and Zouk pioneer in Poland.

 

 

We will teach you how to have fun with your partner! How to carry your body weight and have good posture. How to build a frame in dance, how to lead and follow to many great figures.

Week 2 – October 24 – Viradinha & Intro to lateral step

Week 3 – October 31 – Lateral Step

Week 4 – November 7 – Lunge & amp; Simple Turn

Week 5 – November 14 – Yo & amp; Yo

Week 6 – November 28 – Elastico

Week 7 – December 5 – Bonus Step

Week 8 -12 December – Soltinho Step

She has a very clear understanding of human motor skills and constantly educates herself in new techniques. She has taught dance in over 30 countries, and has been teaching, performing, and dancing her heart out at international zouk festivals for over 12 years. She pioneered zouk in Poland in 2011 in Warsaw, and she is a qualified judge of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council. She has taught zouk together with Pasty, Kamacho, and William dos Santos, and in recent years has found success and immense pride in teaching popular solo follower classes at international festivals, attracting zoukers wanting to learn her unique and expressive style of dancing in order to enhance their partner dancing. Her methodology combines a high level of technique with expression and playfulness.
