21.10|How does bilingualism affect our thinking and perception of the world? Meeting with Jagoda Ratajczak
October 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Polish Library POSK in London invites you to a meeting with Jagoda Ratajczak – philologist, conference interpreter, member of the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialised Interpreters (TEPIS).
The event will take place on 21 October at 6.30 p.m. in the Eagles Room at POSK.
How does bilingualism affect our thinking and perception of the world? Does it shape our experiences, and if so, how? What does it teach us about language? What challenges are involved in learning a foreign language, and what can the process of acquiring it tell us about ourselves and our beliefs? Where does dissatisfaction or embarrassment with our language skills come from, and how can we deal with it?
Entry free!
