Hearts of Freedoms: the incredible story of the only Polish school in occupied Europe 1940/1946

Hearts of Freedoms – The remarkable story of a Polish school in occupied France and its role in the fight for freedom.
The new exhibition at the POSK Gallery, open from February 17 to March 8, 2024 at the POSK Gallery, tells a fascinating and unknown story of courage, bravery and freedom.

The UK premiere of “Out of the Limelight” will be shown at 6:30 pm
a remarkable 86-minute documentary about the life of Zygmunt Lubicz-Zaleski, founder of the Cyprian Norwid Polish School. Cyprian Norwid.
The director and producer will present the movie.

UK premiere

An enchanting film by award winning Rafael Lewandowski tells the amazing story of Zygmunt Lubicz-Zaleski, a Polish poet, writer and music, art and literary critic who set up the Cyprian Norwid Secondary School in Villard-de-Lans – the only Polish high school operating legally in occupied Europe.

6.30pm, Sunday, 18 February 2024. Film will be introduced by the Director. Admission free
