Marcin Kalinowski, Chairman of the Polish Social and Cultural Association, took part in the Katyn Commemoration in London.
On 26 April 2026, a formal Katyn Commemoration was held in London, organised by the Foundation of the Association of Polish Veterans in the United Kingdom.
The commemorations began with a Holy Mass at St Andrew Bobola Garrison Church in London, during which prayers were offered for the victims of the Katyn Massacre and all Poles murdered in the East. Participants then paid tribute to the victims at the Katyn Memorial in Gunnersbury Cemetery.
The event was also attended by the Secretary of POSK, Włodzimierz Mier-Jędrzejowicz, and the Director of Communications and Public Relations, Wiktor Moszczyński.
The ceremony at Gunnersbury Cemetery was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the armed forces, scouts, pupils and teachers from Polish Saturday schools, Polish community organisations, and numerous guests, who laid wreaths to pay their respects to those murdered.
