Mayor of London Sadiq Khan visited the Polish Social and Cultural Association on February 12th, 2024. During his visit, the mayor met with the Association’s Board of Directors, representatives of the EERC (East European Resource Center), the POSK Polish Library in London, the Polish Union in the UK, and the Polish Teachers’ Association Abroad.
Sadiq Khan visited not only the POSK Polish Library but also had the opportunity to see the exhibition: “Trails of Hope,” of which the Library is a co-organizer.
After the visit, he wrote on his website: “I’d like to thank the Polish Social & Cultural Associationfor giving me a fascinating tour of their center today. London’s Polish community has a long and rich history in our city. I’m grateful for their continued contribution to our capital.”
