The Gary Willcox Quartet plays Jerome Kern!

Jerome Kern was one of the most successful popular music composers of the early 20th century, writing over 700 songs for over 100 stage productions. His first Broadway hit was in 1905! 

His music percolated through to jazz orbits with his songs being used by the likes of Charlie Parker, Peggy Lee, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Chet Baker, and many more.

Tonight the excellent Gary Willcox Quartet will play their reinterpretations of Jerome Kern’s songs, from ballads to life affirming grooves!
