The exhibition presents works of 5 artists – lecturers at the Design study programme, major in Visual Communication and Printing Techniques, at the Lodz University of Technology, Poland. The common denominator is the slogan kobieTY_woMEn, as a starting point for creating an intermedia collection of works (painting, graphics, photography, poster, video, performance). What brings the artists together is also a professional relationship and friendship, and more broadly: a sense of female solidarity and community of values, including those passed on to subsequent generations of artists and designers. For this reason, each artist invites one design student or graduate to participate in this project in order to expand this feminine, artistic circle and show a wide audience how the topic of female identity, body, needs and beliefs is interpreted by representatives of two generations of Polish artists.
