Come join us for an exciting event where we will be Discovering Polish Ravenscourt!

Get ready to immerse yourself in Polish culture, food, and traditions. This in-person event will take place at the Polish Social and Cultural Association POSK in Hammersmith. Whether you’re Polish or just curious about the culture, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, connect, and have a great time.

We meet at the members only POSKlub on the 4th floor of POSK where we can have a snack, a beverage and a chat before we start. We will learn about the history of POSK and the variety of activities that take place there.

Our next experience will be to meet the painter Joanna Ciechanowska and to go with her to see her exhibition which is in the POSK Gallery. Next, Joanna, who is Director of the POSK Gallery, will take us around the building to look at the centre art collection. After a short rest, we will then stroll through Ravenscourt Park, seeing an important memorial on the way, to the beautiful Polish RC church of St Andrew Bobola. Finally, there will be an optional stop at the Eagle pub in Askew Road from where buses can take you to wherever you need to go.

The cost is £18 via Eventbrite or £20 exact cash on the day. The cost of food and beverages is not included in the price.
