On 9 November 2024, the 59th General Assembly ended, with Marcin Kalinowski becoming the new Chairman of POSK.
Businessman and community worker
Marcin is a successful businessman who has gained recognition among employees and contractors. However, his activities go beyond the professional sphere – for two terms he served as POSK’s House Director (for building management), effectively taking care of organisational matters. He became known for his meticulousness, charisma and organisational and interpersonal skills, which earned him recognition in both professional and social circles.
A man of values
Known among friends as a person full of warmth and spontaneity, Martin is at the same time a devoted father and passionate about motorbikes and fishing. He is an extremely modest man whose natural kindness makes it easy for him to win people over.
A vision for the future of POSK
As Chairman of the POSK, Marcin Kalinowski wants to focus on a few key objectives:
Urgent care for the condition of the POSK building, which requires immediate maintenance work
Protecting the heritage of this extremely important institution for the Polish community, which has a rich and beautiful history
Organising cultural events and projects open to all, regardless of age, social status or nationality
Marcin is particularly attentive to the multinational families that make up contemporary Polonia and wishes to share with them the best of Polish culture.
